Nomiations – Elections today – we voted on slate of officers:
Tina Dean, President; Linda Berry, President-Elect; Jenni Thompson, Secretary; Amy Fitzgerald, Treasurer – Board of Directors:  Carla Carson, Sarah McCammon, Lisa Norton, Debbie Craig & Tish Scott.

Committee Reports:

Ways & Means:  No report

Education:   A few need to finish up CWC

Membership:  Renewal forms passed out

Social/Program:  June meeting will be installation of officers

Awards:  Amy Fitzgerald presented with ‘Rookie of the Year’ award

Newsletter/Website:  No Report – please remember to check the website.

Publicity:  Debbie has put in 3 new articles – Mary and Tina

Budget/Audit:  No Report

Horizon Plan:  No report

2008 IN Council Meeting:  Will be September 5th & 6th; we will be working on the flyer and the theme is Luau under the Stars

New Business:
National Conference/Regional Conference – A log going on about bylaws.  There was in an increase in dues with no discussion at a board meeting during Nationals last year.  National has made promises to be more responsible with finances and more open.

Safety:  Saturday, June 7th will be a car seat check at Southland Shopping Center this is in conjunction with Chances for Youth and coincides with the Just 4 Kids sale.  We will have inspectors from Chances and will be passing out TIKE stickers.  Gail has worked very hard on this and we need volunteers to help out that day.  This event will be posted on Community Calendar and in the paper.

Presidents awards were presented to the All Industry Committee; Bert, Jenni M., Tish & Tina and Lisa Norton for getting basket donated from Clabber Girl.

Installation will be June 16th at 7th & Elm Bar & Grille – we will have a meeting 3rd week of August since we have the State meeting coming up.
