Special Guest – our own Jenni Thompson gave her Communicate with Confidence speech on Identity Theft.

Old Business:
Don’t forget your $2 for name tags if you have not already paid and $1.50 for the Ethics book.
We raised close to $300 from Christmas wrapping and Rada Knives – we can continue to sell the Rada Knives as we can place an order at any time.  It was suggested that we have a lunch carry in at each office to raise money for IPWV – donated food by the members and charge a donation for lunch.  Tish motioned and Jenni T. 2nd.  It was also suggested that we think about Christmas in the Park or working at the track, Colts game or Pacers game.
The Horizon Plan has been posted for a while.  It needs reviewed each year; each committee chairperson should review their own section and make any suggestions to the board.
Nominating Committee was formed and is comprised of:  Tina Dean, Linda Berry and Tish Scott.  If you are interested in being appointed to an office please let one of them know.
Sarah will be setting up something for the ones who need to complete their Communicate with Confidence classes.
Mentors need to make contact with their new members.

Membership:  Possible membership drive is being worked on.

Social/Program:  No Report

Awards:  This months President Award went to Jenni Thompson

Newsletter/Website:  No Report – please remember to check the website.

All-Industry:  We are trying to figure out a location.  First Conference may not be an option at all but we will know prior to the next meeting and will have a vote to make the final decision.

Budget/Audit:  No Report
Horizon Plan:  See Old Business – no direct report

New Business:
IN Council meeting in September – we set date for Sept. 12th and 13th.  The committee will be meeting ASAP.
Possible speaker from Fireman’s Fund for Fire Safety month or for IN State Council Meeting or it was suggested that we do business etiquette for the State Council meeting – Tish has some of her own ideas and will relay them to the committee.
Regional conference – Tish and Debbie will be attending and they need to take a $25 basket of goodies the conference.  It was voted that we ask for a donation from Clabber Girl and if we cannot get anything we will then vote on taking it from the treasury.  There are very controversial recommendations being voted on at this meeting and Tish would like everyone to visit www.naiw.com to see if you have any suggestions or feel strongly about any particular thing.  At this time, they plan to vote down virtually all recommendations on the table.
