Meeting was called to order by Debra Craig, ACSR, President of Insurance Professionals of the Wabash Valley.
Sarah McCammon read the Collect.
Debra Craig introduced prospective members: Dr. Boose, ISU; Amanda Sunbury, ISU; Vicki Welsh, American Family Insurance; and Stephanie Waters, Old National Insurance.
Debra Craig introduced guest speaker, Tish Scott, NAIW IN Council Director, who spoke on “Making a Difference, Kids Hope USA.”
Minutes & Treasurer’s reports accepted as posted.
Jennifer Wallace collected $2 for name tags and $1.50 for members participating in the Ethics class.
Tina Dean presented information on the Fire Safety Art Contest and gift cards will be delivered to recipients within the next two weeks. Members who would like to deliver the gift cards need to contact Tina Dean.
Gail Loehmann presented information on the “TIKE” stickers and projects for the future to continue distribution of the stickers.
Tina Dean was presented with a CWC pin for her participation and representation of the local association at the IN Council speak-off.
A fundraiser list was distributed to members to choose five fundraisers to be held this year.
Tish reported on All-Industry night and the committee’s idea to have a mystery dinner.
Deb reported on publicity and requested additional news items for the paper. Six articles should print within the next two weeks.
Deb reported that the Horizon Plan should be done and posted on the website before next month.
President’s Awards were presented to Tina Dean and Sarah McCammon.
Thank you to everyone who provided gifts for 14th & Chestnut Community Center.
