November December 2007 Newsletter

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we often forget what the season is really all about.  The holidays are the time of year to reflect on what we have in our lives to be thankful for.  When you are complaining about having to prepare that Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, be thankful you have the ability to do that and to share it with family and friends and think of the people out there without that gift.  When you are racking your brain trying to find that perfect gift for the hard to buy for person on your list, remember why they are on your list and in your life.

What are you thankful for this season?  Me, my family, a beautiful grandson, my home, a job, my health, my friends here at IPWV and the wonder of God and this beautiful world He has given us to live in.

Be Thankful for all the little things in your life whether you think of them as good or bad, they are there for a reason.

Indiana State Council Meeting.  Tish did a wonderful job presiding over the State Council Meeting this September.  Deb was hard at work as her assistant.  Fun was had by all that attended and the food and shopping were to die for.

Tina did us all proud with her speech for the Communicating with Confidence competition.

Congratulations to Lisa Norton on the birth of Andrea!  She was in a rush to come into this world but arrived healthy and happy!

Congratulations to all that completed their Communicate With Confidence classes.  Tina Dean, Alexis Simpson, Jenni Thompson, Debbie Craig, Robin Stover, Tish Scott and Linda Berry.  Thanks Tish again for presiding over the meetings.  I think we all enjoyed it and feel more confident in ourselves.

Thank you Sarah McCammon.  Sarah taught the Ethics class this month.
